Fort Worth Golf offers the golfer a quality, enjoyable, safe and comprehensive golf program through five municipally owned golf courses, promoting golf as a lifetime sport. Each course has a unique layout and is designed to challenge every level of skill. The City provides facilities to promote golf skills, individual and group lessons, organizational services for tournaments, support for golf associations based at each course with the opportunity for tournament play on a regular basis.

2010 Handicap Fee Due
The USGA GHIN handicap fee is due now. Cost for this annual service is $20. You may pay your fee at any City of Fort Worth golf course.
Beginning this year, all City of Fort Worth Championship Events will require each participant to have an established USGA handicap.

Thanks to all that braved the cold, wintry weather in this year's Cowboy Santas Golf Tournament held at two locations - Pecan Valley and Meadowbrook. Congrats to the following players for capturing their respective flights: A Flight Champs - Meadowbrook (Mike Berger, Lyn Womack, Adam Womack & Jim Steele) Pecan Valley (Bob Woodson, Dennis Ford, Joe Correa & Scott Wilcox); B Flight Champs - Meadowbrook (Donnie Stinnett, Sammy Zamagni, Steve Hamilton & Pete Lopez) Pecan Valley (Ray Carlberg, Ronny Evans, Wayne Cole & Tom West); C Flight Champs - Meadowbrook (Paul Gonzalez, Ted Ledel, Mike Warner & Dustin Godell) Pecan Valley (Mitchell Martin, Steve Busbee, Roy Wood & Andy Busbee). But the real winners are the children who benefit from the players' donations of toys and money which this year totalled $350 and 205 toys. Rockwood and Z Boaz offer Short Course for Beginning Youth Golfers
Rockwood and Z Boaz have installed tee markers to accomodate the younger golfer. The two sets of tees offer a course at 2,200 yards and 3,800 yards per 18 holes.
