Fort Worth Golf offers the golfer a quality, enjoyable, safe and comprehensive golf program through five municipally owned golf courses, promoting golf as a lifetime sport. Each course has a unique layout and is designed to challenge every level of skill. The City provides facilities to promote golf skills, individual and group lessons, organizational services for tournaments, support for golf associations based at each course with the opportunity for tournament play on a regular basis.

105 juniors participated in this year's event held on the Hills and River course at Pecan Valley. Winners in their respective age groups were: 18 Holes Girls Division 12 - 13 - Nina Kupra; 14 - Amy Kupra; 15-16 - Jessica Liptak and 17 years old - Sara Posey. In the 9 Holes Girls Divison your winners are: Girls 8 - Michele Zhou; 9-11 - quinn Barber. In the Boy 18 hole Division the Champions in their respective age groups are: Boys 10-11 - Reece Posey; 12 - 13 - Conner Parish; 14 to 15 - Cain Rocha and 16 to 17 - Dillon Vaughn. Champion of the 9 hole Boys 9 years old group was Austin Kelly.

Lelan Chiles Captures 4th Mid Amateur Title in 5 Years
Lelan Chiles captured his fourth title in the last five years firing an even par 70 in the final round coupled with his 67 yesterday equaling 137 for the 36 hole championship. His closest competitor William Pritchard was consistent with a two day total of 142 (71-71). Lelan turned the front with a three over 38 but rallied with a 3 under 32 on the back nine, with birdies down the home stretch on holes 16 and 18. Other champs of their respective flights include First Flight Champ Michael Clark, Second Flight Champ David Woodham winning on the first hole of sudden death over Chris Saunders; and Third Flight Champ Kirk Indermill. Mid Day Time RollBacks
Beginning today, June 6, 2010 until August 31, 2010 the Mid Day rate will begin at 11am instead of 1pm. Take advantage of this time rollback.
Family Golf Special
Seven days a week, beginning at 6pm, Fort Worth Golf offers a special rate for up to four (4) family members (2 adults and 2 juniors or 1 adult and 3 juniors) for $25.00. If two adults are playing this special includes two carts; if only one adult is playing then one golf cart is issued. This program is our way of getting families on the golf course to spend quality time together playing the game of a lifetime. Juniors are 17 years of age and younger and must be included in the group. No more than 2 adults allowed per group.For more information on this special contact any of our five facilities.
2010 City Championship Date Announced
The dates are set for the 2010 City Championship schedule. The Fort Worth Golf Division will host 11 championships beginning on June 6th with the Parent/Junior Championship and ending with the Fort Worth Pro Am on October 8th. To view all dates and make plans to play click here.

Beginning in April our courses will recognize the following maintenance days and the courses will be closed as noted.
Meadowbrook - Wednesdays closed until 8am (beginning April 21st)
Pecan Valley Hills - Mondays closed until 10am (beginning April 5th)
Pecan Valley River - Tuesdays closed until 10am (beginning April 5th)
Rockwood - Mondays closed until 8am (beginning April 5th)
Sycamore Creek - No closures with exception of aerification dates
Z Boaz - Mondays closed until 8am (beginning April 5th)
Rockwood and Z Boaz offer Short Course for Beginning Youth Golfers
Rockwood and Z Boaz have installed tee markers to accomodate the younger golfer. The two sets of tees offer a course at 2,200 yards and 3,800 yards per 18 holes.
