Fort Worth Golf offers the golfer a quality, enjoyable, safe and comprehensive golf program through five municipally owned golf courses, promoting golf as a lifetime sport. Each course has a unique layout and is designed to challenge every level of skill. The City provides facilities to promote golf skills, individual and group lessons, organizational services for tournaments, support for golf associations based at each course with the opportunity for tournament play on a regular basis.

Friday July 3rd will be Holiday/Weekend Rates
The City of Fort Worth is recognizing this Friday, July 3rd as a holiday; therefore the City of Fort Worth courses will be charging holiday/weekend rates.
Pecan Valley "River" Closed July 6th for Aerification
The River course at Pecan Valley will be closed all day on Monday July 6th for aerification. The course will re-open on Tuesday, July 7th.
City Couples Championship - June 27th
This year's Couples Championship was held at Z Boaz GC on Saturday, June 27th. A total of 18 teams teed it up, braved the heat and had a good time. High Noon Golf Game Pushed Back to 1pm Start Time
The High Noon Golf Games which began on March 20th on the Hills course at Pecan Valley with 23 golfers participating has been moved back to a 1pm start time. The next High Noon game will be Friday, July 17th at Pecan Valley "River" Golf Course. This fun event is open to all men and women golfers. Teams will be formed by the golf staff trying to maintain balance in this A-B-C-D format. All players will play their own ball throughout the round, with the opportunity to win via the team's front, back and total score; skins game as well as low gross and low net. All players are responsible for their applicable green fees/carts (if riding) plus the $20 per player entry fee. To register for the July 17th event contact the golf shop at Pecan Valley (817-349-1845) by no later than 11:00am on Friday, July 17th.
Tell your friends and come on out for a great time and a good way to meet other golfers. Remember it's a 1pm start!
Sycamore Creek hosts monthly Skins Game

Beginning the week of April 6th, 2009, and throughout the summer and early Fall,our golf courses will observe the following days as maintenance days.
Mondays - Pecan Valley Hills closed until 11am
Mondays - Rockwood closed until 9am
Tuesdays - Pecan Valley River closed until 11am
Tuesdays - ZBoaz closed until 9am
Wednesdays - Meadowbrook closed until 9am

Rockwood and Z Boaz offer Short Course for Beginning Youth Golfers
Rockwood and Z Boaz have installed tee markers to accomodate the younger golfer. The two sets of tees offer a course at 2,200 yards and 3,800 yards per 18 holes.
