
Fort Worth Golf offers the golfer a quality, enjoyable, safe and comprehensive golf program through five municipally owned golf courses, promoting golf as a lifetime sport. Each course has a unique layout and is designed to challenge every level of skill. The City provides facilities to promote golf skills, individual and group lessons, organizational services for tournaments, support for golf associations based at each course with the opportunity for tournament play on a regular basis.

Public Meeting to be Held regarding Z Boaz Golf Course
A public meeting will be held at R.D. Evans Community Center on February 21st at 6:30pm. The topic of discussion will be the possible re-purposing of Z Boaz Golf Course into a community park. Members of the community and interested individuals are invited to this meeting to learn more.
Nine Hole Green Fee Rates Introduced
Effective November 12, 2011 we began offering nine hole rates during weekdays anytime and on weekends as tee times are available. The nine hole green fee rate will be half of the regular morning green fee. Mid day and Evening nine hole rates will be 1/2 of our regular morning rate.based on the regular rates. For more information contact our golf staff at any of our five locations.
Fivesomes to be allowed after 11:00am on Weekends & Holidays
Effective immediately all five course locations will begin allowing fivesomes on weekends and holidays after 11am. No more than four players may play prior to the 11:00am time on weekends and holidays. The golf staff reserves the right to split up fivesomes if the group is found to not keeping pace with the group in front or not keeping pace with a 4.5 hour 18 hole round of golf.
Family Golf Special
Seven days a week, beginning at 3:00pm, Fort Worth Golf offers a special rate for up to four (4) family members (2 adults and 2 juniors or 1 adult and 3 juniors) for $25.00. If two adults are playing this special includes two carts; if only one adult is playing then one golf cart is issued. This program is our way of getting families on the golf course to spend quality time together playing the game of a lifetime. Juniors are 17 years of age and younger and must be included in the group. No more than 2 adults allowed per group.For more information on this special contact any of our five facilities.
Rockwood and Z Boaz offer Short Course for Beginning Youth Golfers
Rockwood and Z Boaz have installed tee markers to accomodate the younger golfer. The two sets of tees offer a course at 2,200 yards and 3,800 yards per 18 holes. Golf Associations
Want to play on weekends or weekdays in some fun, competitive events? Then you need to check out what each of our courses offer. Meadowbrook, Pecan Valley and Sycamore Creek all offer weekend events; Meadowbrook, Pecan Valley, Rockwood and Z Boaz all offer weekday competition to those lucky folks who are retired or happen to have a day off that falls in the week. The Fort Worth Ladies Golf Assocation play every Friday at one of our City facilities. 2011 Men's City Championship - Registration is Now Open
Again, this year's event will be played over Labor Day weekend (Sept 3-4-5). Price is still $150 and includes 3 days of golf with cart, practice balls at Rockwood and Pecan Valley. To register for this 54 hole stroke play event click here.
Jones & Montero Capture 2011 Two Person Scramble
Congrats to Fate Jones and Lupe Montero for capturing this year's Two Person Scramble title. Fate and Lupe fired a 61 bettering their closest competitors by two shots and that team being Mike Masowich and Amery Droogson. Other flight winners included 1st flight - Terry Brooks & Jeff Sallee, 2nd flight - Brady Reed and Brad Lane, and 3rd flight - Dave Canada & Thomas Harvill. Lelan Chiles and Tom Takes Capture Two Person Best Ball
Congratulations to Lelan Chiles and Tom Takes for capturing this year's Two Person Best Ball with a 36 gross score of 131. Matt Tucker and Parker Sullivan captured first net in the Championship flight witha 129. First Flight low gross went to Robert Chandler and partner Buddy Smart with a 142 and low net in that flight was won by Tyler Gizzi and Rich Franke. Second Flight low gross was won by Eric Theriault and Steven George with a 142 and low net won by Walter Norwood and his partner Perry Lindsey. Judd Pritchard Captures 2011 Mid Amateur
Judd Pritchard began his round on Hole #2 and started off with a bogey 5 before reeling off a birdie on 3, eagle on 4 and birdies on holes 5 & 6. His final round of 5 under 66 was good enough to capture his first Mid Amateur Championship by one shot over first round leader Kevin Schmuhl. The competition was strong this year as eight players finished the 36 hole event under par. Jason Avery captured the 1st Flight by 3 shots over Jim Wohlgemuth. Cody Eddins edged Mike Ellis out by one shot for the 2nd Flight title; Ray Vanschuyver captured the 3rd Flight over David Darwin and Ray Wheeler and Jason Hudson won the 4th Flight with Bob Murphey and Joe Jarrell tied for second place.
